Janet Glenn, DDS, MAGD
A native Texan and lifelong Irving resident, Dr. Glenn received her undergraduate degree in Chemistry at the University of Texas at Arlington in 1981. She then graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1985, with honor society membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon. By accumulating over 500 hours in continuing education and passing an examination, she was awarded Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2000. After completing 1100 education hours, she received a Mastership from the Academy of General Dentistry in July 2004, an honor which fewer than 1% of dentists have received. This makes Dr. Glenn one of the premier dentists in the Dallas Fort Worth area and one of an even smaller group of women in dentistry to achieve this level of expertise. This is important for patients who prefer a female dentist. She’s also a member of American Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Society (served on peer review committee), Irving Dental Study Club (past Secretary/ Treasurer), and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Glenn’s latest continuing education classes include an aesthetic continuum at UCLA and a year-long course in Implant Dentistry.
Outside dentistry, Dr. Glenn is active in church and in her spare time you will find her reading, scuba diving, running, and playing with her grandson.

The Gentle Dentistry of Las Colinas Philosophy
Our focus on preventive, restorative and cosmetic dentistry gives us a well rounded approach to achieving excellent dental health and attractive appearance.
Preventive dentistry is all about maintaining good dental health. It involves daily home care, good nutrition, periodic check-ups and regular cleanings. Preventive dentistry is our ultimate goal for every patient.
Restorative dentistry is basic repair of the mouth. Mending broken or leaky fillings and building onlays help keep existing teeth. Missing teeth may be replaced with bridges, implants, or partial and full dentures. When necessary, gum disease is treated, the bite realigned, or root canal therapy is recommended. Keeping all your teeth for all of your life is the simple belief behind restorative dentistry.
Cosmetic dentistry is coming of age with new materials and procedures that make a beautiful smile available to everyone. These innovations, complemented with success in our preventive and restorative programs, give us the luxury of considering cosmetic treatment for gaps, chips and otherwise less-than-perfect smiles.
